anything you tell a doctor is confidential, unless he/she has reason to believe you are going to hurt yourself or another. telling your doctor you had a tattoo won't cause any reaction from him/her.

I've often wondered that too. I have scars on both arms. I wouldn't like tattoos on my arms, but I do think tattooing is a nice way to turn them into something more positive and beautiful.

I don't mean this to cause offence or upset to anyone...but I find Beckham's tattoo more of a crucifix image than an angel. I love the idea of guardian angels though. I believe everyone has one.
