some inks have a polymer(plastic granule) base,....and others have a metal granule base,..........I've heard of some reactions to the plast ...

I wouldn't think the spray had much to do with it. It may just be that the artist had to work the skin really hard to get the ink to take. I've had people like this,...you have to make more strokes,.. ...

The plastic wrap is a VERY bad idea. It's a pretty old school idea,...but has since been found to promote the propagation of bacteria.
