Just keep it to two hours or so at a time if you can (it may be difficult to do that on the first session). It's pretty grim, but it's bearable.

It's probably the worst place I've been tattooed but it's tolerable. Just keep the sessions down to two to three hours maximum each.

My wife had her foot done and said it didn't hurt much, but it took an incredible amount of time to heal. It was well over a month before it stopped scabbing.

I have heard that if you use vaseline to moisturise the area you're tattooing, as a real artist would do on real skin, then it keeps the mess right down.

I always scratch them like mad once the scab has gone. They really itch when they're healing. I've never had a problem with a tattoo because of it.
