| I want an Amy Brown fairy on the small of my back. I love her work. But, of course her art is copyrighted. How do you go about that? Do I need permission from the artist for the fairy, or do tattooist even ask? |

| It's going on your body, and you're not using it for monetary gain, so I can hardly say that you would be infringing on any copyright. I wouldn't worry about it. The artist may decide to change it up a little bit for tattooing purposes (small details may need to be removed or altered). |

Just like LadySav has said change one or two things and things should be okay. I want to get a pinup girl on my left calf. So I searched the net and found heaps of pictures. One particularly took my fancy and this is what I will be getting. Its actually a bumber sticker. And the lady looks like my wife when we were younger.Big bustedand a great body but this one is wearing a blue dress so what I'm gonna do is change the blue dress to a red dress. As she looked so sexy wearing this particular red dress. It will be so good to have her on me dressed like that. She's not showing her breast but you can see that they are full and beautiful curves like she had. I wouldn't have a **** woman on me as now we have grandkids and I don't want them seeing that sort of thing especially on their greandfather. The Tattman |

why dont you draw it yourself...
most sites dont let you down load the images anyway, unless you pay for them... |

| I have the sloppiest hand ever when it comes to just sitting down, thinking of something to draw, and drawing it but I can look at a picture and draw a replica like no other and I wanted a tat of an ambigram of my name so I went on a site where you have to pay for the designs so instead of paying for it I Looked off the pc screen and drew the exact thing on paper and touched it up with my own style and it looks a lot different than the original now so you could just change it up a bit like the others said. |

I do that too! I just free hand it onto the paper while looking on the computer.
I found this site which sells stickers (peace signs and phoenixes and flags etc) and temps, little did they know you can just copy and paste them. |
