I did my first tattoo (all black color) about 16 days ago. Few days after that, I started using moisturiser. I was so focused on using a non fragrance moisturiser that I did not realise my lotion is a whitening lotion with Vit E (Eucerin). I used that for about 4 days before realising my mistake. Now (9 days after using the lotion) I noticed that my tattoo isn't completely black...it's like the tattoo is not completely fully shaded and I can see brownish spots similar to my skin color. I dunno if this is the becos of the whitening lotion I used or if it's part of the healing process. Can anyone advise? Other than this mistake, I have been very careful not to expose my tattoo to the sunlight , pick on the scabs or go swimming.

Did you tattoo yourself??

Right now it's hard to say. It will heal in diffrent spots at diffrent times so it's not uncommon to see a diffrence in places.
If you had a artist do it, go back and show it to him /her and see what he/she thinks.

well uh....
u may have faded the tattoo

to be sure wait untill the tattoo is done healing
3 months

go back to the tattoo shop....
you may just need a touch up...
