| Well I had to say butterflies since that is what I have. I have a purple butterfly that is surrounded by a heart that is black and all scrolly looking. I really want to add to this tattoo soon. I am looking for an artist since the one I used to use is out of the business. |

Well I have about 12 Dragonflies, but no "bugs" category I guess they would be considered new school, or cartoon-ish, as they aren't "realistic" |

i don't really prefer one type to the other. i think if its a good tattoo, in the right place, on the right person i like it.
so many people just get tattoo's just to get them, and really don't plan them out or think hard about them. i wont get anything done on my body until i am satisfied with the design and placement for at least 2-3 months. i try to plan 3-4 tattoo's down the line and make sure i like how the spacing will look on my body. i would never go into a shop, pick out a random flash design of the wall and get it on my body forever. |

i think anything done well looks great, especially if it suits the wearers personality.
i love just studying peoples tattoos, looking at all the detail and admiring the talent taken to do it.
pity mine is on my back, i'm getting a really sore neck |

Dragon tattoos are far the most popular...
But what kind of dragon? European one or Asian ones? |

I agree. I absolutely LOVE chinese/japanese style dragon tattoo's, and admire the dragon tattoo work of people like Chris Garver. I plan on either making my next tattoo a large dragon on my back with japanese style water, or a dragon with its head on the right side of my chest with the body coming up and wrapping around my upper right arm. |

I think pin up girls would probably be my favorite theme.
I'd never get one though. |
