Hi, I was on holiday in Faliraki just over a week ago, and a tattoo artist grabbed me when I was absolutely paralytic and convinced me to get a tattoo there and then! I don’t actually remember anything until later in the night when I realised what had happened.
The tattoo is on my arm, I do like it so that’s not a problem, but I’ve never had a tattoo before so didn’t look after it quite as well as I should. It was out in the sun lots and too much moisturiser was applied.

The tattoo looks fairly faded (it should be black) and there are some patches where he obviously hasn’t filled it in properly.
My question is, how long should I leave it before going to a Tattoo artist and getting it filled in? It’s been about 10 days so far and it seems to have stopped peeling.

Getting it filled in might be the least of your worries!!!!!!!

But anyway. It's hard to say because we don't know the skill level of the...... Ahem "artist" Rolling Eyes

You just need to have some one look at it and see what they can do about it. Usely you wait about 2 weeks before going over or continuing with color ect ect.

leave it another week or two then see an artist.

In the meantime and i mean this in all seriouseness get to a health clininc explain what happened and ask for a blood test. Ensure it covers all blood borne diseases like hepatitis. Not trying to worry you but it is a real possibility mate.

Ok cheers for the advice guys, I will go get it checked out on Tuesday as I have the day off. I have been vaccinated against hepatitis when I went abroad last year, I just hope I didn’t pick up anything else.
Unfortunately in countries like Greece, they are poor enough not to have as strict morel values and a tourist is just money.
