I like things to have a meaning. That's why I'm not doing some little thing just to have a tattoo the first time. I'm planning on doing a horse jumping on my left arm, to represent my love of horses and the sport. I'm sick of people saying how horseback riding isn't a sport, and trash what gives meaning to my life. I want something there, to represent it. To show I mean business. I'm thinking of doing it on the top part of my arm, where it starts on the for and comes around to the inside, not huge but nice. Kind of like the horse jumping into my heart. Or just like a spirited horse because the jumping imo, wouldn't look the best there. And I can't find anything close to what I want.
I found some nice designs looking through art and I have a question about colors and design.

I really like this style, the broken lines like a rough sketch drawing. I also really blove the coloring on it. Is that porssible to do with tattoos? Like a "watercolor" type of coloring? I love this picture, except the head and my artist friend is helping me out, redoing the head. |

Hi Chantal,
A very skilled tattoo artist would be able to blend the colours for you...... They build up the layers of ink using slightly different shades and kinda smudge white through the areas to give it that faded, smooth brushed look.
Good luck |
