|
|
| My Dad passed away last August and to keep him with me (I'm not really spiritual but it was something I had to do) I went to Hart and Huntington and got his initial [b:d03cab44da]E.G.T[/b:d03cab44da] inked in between my shoulder blades right below the shirt line. I love it as is but want to frame it with an artisitc pattern below the initals and cradling up around the sides. I'm just starting to toss around ideas. I want it symetric, solid black, most likely tribal in orientation but not cliche or eccentric. The initials are 2.5" high by 4" long. Suggestions welcome. |

Hi, I am sorry for your dad!
See the artist that have done the tattoo initials and ask him/her to give you some ideas then take your time to see you like them or not. |

My parents gave me a wall hanging at graduation with a quote on it that reads:"There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: One of these is Roots; the other, Wings."
Hodding Carter
I worked with my artist to design a framework that incorporated wings and a root. My initials are also somewhat hidden (MT) in the lower part. |

| Thanks for the compliment Nik. Hope he is. I'm getting another small piece added to it this weekend. Will post the pic when it's done. |
