I was thinking of attending the Derby, UK convention next month as part of my "research" (I hate that word)...it's also a big interest to me. Can anyone tell me what I could expect to see? I understand that there will be stalls and some artists there but what else goes on? Would it be a good thing for me to go to?

definately ruth you will see so many different tattoos you wont believe it you can talk to anyone they are all mostly friendly,and you can see the artists at work its noisy vibrant sexy all the things you want stalls selling merchandise ,and if you really want to see some of the worlds finest go to the london show.i guarantee youll have a ball.

I just looked the London one up online. It does look very good! Especially the exhibition on the history of tattoo, and I'd love to see the "suicide girls" exhibit, I was thinking of applying to photograph with/for them.
Eee..I'm all excited!
I presume no one there minds if non-tattooed people go?

hell no anyone can go just dont overdress even if ya not tattood it wont make any difference ruth you go and enjoy yourself.
