A well known old school tattoo artist in the Las Vegas area is this guy name MAGIC. Look him up if you ever decide to get one while you are in vegas. My boyfriend gets his tattoos done by him and they look awesome. He does awesome shading.

Thanks for sharing! I am thinking about getting a tattoo on my Vegas vacation so this is great information to have. I would like to check out Carey Hart's shop but I can not imagine how far in advance you have to book as well as the price.

Hart and Huntington doesn't take reservations. They open at 11am but in order to get an appointment I would reccommend showing up AT LEAST an hour early to get in line. When I went over Labor Day Weekend I showed up early and was number 8 in line. The previous day I got a 3:00 appointment and was quoted $700 for three 2 inch by 2 inch initials on my back. Totally outrageous. So the next day I got my appointment and they told me to come back at 1:00 pm. I came back at 1:00 and didn't get seated for my tattoo until 3:40. I was quoted $350 to $400. By 4:00pm I was done and the artist charged me $268.00. I've heard similar horror stories about H and H. Unless your motive is to be able to say you got a tattoo there I would strongly recommend avoiding Hart and Huntington. They make a great TV show but run a very inefficient, overpriced, and painfully slow operation. Not to mention when I got back to NYC to get the rest of my piece done my artist said the shading was half assed on the initials and he recolored it for free. Hope that story helps.

you know shadow i figured that they would be over priced at H&H. I got a portrait of my daughter here in nashville, tn for 160 when everyone else was charging 300 or better. I got lucky on the deal because I am good friends with a good friend of the artist, and am now good friends with the artist myself. I am going to post my tats as soon as my wife gets our usb from work. But anyways i couldn't even imagine what H&H would charge for a portrait.
