Hi all,
A long time ago, I was 16, I got tattoo of my girlfriend :/
bad move,
thing is it doesn't bother me or anything but my current partner, wife to be and mother of my children is getting a bit sick of looking at an old flames name on my arm.
I have no idea what I can do about it, any suggestions?
I mean do i just blank out the name, do i try and have the whole thing covered over, do i just live with it?
I want a tattoo with my sons name on, but i would never use this tattoo for anything like that, I just need rid of the name on it more than anything.
Be blunt, tell me how it is but please advise
thanks in advance
planned on posting an image but this board wont seem to let me so I cant see there being much help here |

You have a few options. Best I can say is go find a shop you like, talk to the artist and get his or her advice. If it's just black & no color and rather small area, should be pretty easy to cover up with something.
You could also have it lasered which should lighten it up and make it easier to cover up, but thats a pretty Pricey choice.
But the first option I think is your best bet!
Names..... ACK! |

you can post a pic in your gallery if you want us to see it for a better idea.
I think the guys have some good ideas there. Armbands look great but are not for everyone. If the name is in a banner type styl, it could just be filled in solid. Of course it depends how is was done in the first place. Let us know what you come up with, and if you do pop the pic in your gallery.
definitely see a good artist about it, they should be able to give you all sorts of ideas. I'm sure they see this alot |
