I'm wondering how long after having the tattoo done can I soak in a bath again. I'm guessing i have to wait till it is completely healed. I only ask because my back is out, and baths always help.

Torie , i reckon a quick soak wont do any real damage . as long as your not getting the tat soggy .and dry it well when you get out .
But i'm sure others may disagree . |

| recently had a large tattoo going from base of neck down my spine, was advised not to bath, been taking just showers and plenty of E45 cream. It has totally healed in less than a week and the colour is looking great, my first tat was on the base of spine didn't look after it as well and had to have some of the shading re-done. |

i've been doing it as john says, only i wait an hour for my skin to dry completely before applying my cream. Thats what the artist said, and what it says on the tube of tattoo cream i bought.
It is all healed now, so I am getting in as many baths as i can before tuesday, when I go back for some touch ups and a bit more shading that i have decided on.
Thanks guys |
