Hello
I currently have no tattoos but ive been in contact with my local tattoo studio (well done my research and have been to the best one in my area) for the past few weeks talking about my ideas.
So a week today and i'll be biting the bullet and getting it done.
Iam getting Alice (from wonderland) running on one foot and the white rabbit running on the other so it looks like alice is chasing the rabbit. Getting it in colour too.
However iam really brickin it as ive heard the foot is one of the most painful places to get it. Is there any truth is this? Or is it just a matter of personal opinion and your own pain threshold?
Can anybody here share with me their own experiences of a foot tattoo and how long it takes roughly to heal, and whats the best to wear on your feet. I'll be at work every day afterwards but luckily iam only working on reception so I could have my shoes off.
Also numbing cream - haha is it worth it or am i just being a fairy? No pain no gain?
any replies would be muchly apreaciated
fannnks

Button .
Firstly i have not had the foot done , but keep in mind all tattoos will hurt to some degree , some spots are very painful some are not to bad at all .
As for shoes i personally would not be wearing any thing that would rub on the tattoo , as even a shirt sleeve on you arm gets very annoying and can cause infection/irritations .
And numbing cream ...... suck it up princess hehehehehe

I don't have any on my feet but do have 4 on my hands...I would think it will sting ( I don't use the word pain) some, seems to sting while he/she is tattooing and lets up when they stop. It's NOT going to be that big a deal. When you first get home take 2 mortrin or what every you use You will only need to once.
As far as shoes, just ask your artist what he /she recommendeds. He/she will give you instructions on after care, the most importent thing is not to let it dry out. What ever cream your artist wants you to use, you just want to keep a thin coat on it, Not a thick coat, just a thin coat to keep it soft. If you wake up during the night, put a coat on .
FORGET the numbing cream !!!!!
you will be just fine. The single most importent thing is............... listen to what your artist tell you do and don't be afraid to ask them a question if theres something your not sure about.
Let us know how it goes |
