hiya people, my names Garrick Downie, I'm just learning how to tattoo, my teacher recently passed away and instead of finding a new tutor I am going to train myself first and then see were that gets me.

Im her basically here for advice and to make friends.

Thanks for welcoming me to the site. Well actually i haven't started yet, my Tutor Alan Swan (owner of Blue Moon Tattoo) recently passed away before i could become his apprentice. Hopefully today I'm going to order a kit to start practicing with. Then hopefully I'll attract some attention from experienced tattooists who'll train me.

I'm from Blantyre, Glasgow, Scotland...

As I haven't ever tattoo'd I don't have a favorite style of tattooing, but I am doing an HNC in art & design at the moment but I don't have favorite art style.

So how long have you been tattooing for?
