Hi
I have a rather complex question
I had a tattoo coverup, and while I generally like the work, theres one part that I really dont like, as the old taTTOO shows a lot through the new one.
My new tattoo is orange, my old one is bllack and darkblue
My qyestion is I heard that different laser type are needed to remove different color, so would it be possible to mostly remove the black ink without affecting too much the orange ink
thanks alot |

| No. It will affect the whole thing. Your artists should have known better than to try and cover a dark ink with a light ink. |

First post after my intro so I am sorry its to disagree with another member but.........
If you laser operator is any good you can have the orange areas treated to remove the black underneath and 2 months after your last treatment get the orange touched up as required. |

| Good god...a laser isn't a "magic wand". You laser an area and it affects the color there. You can't set it to just take out certain colors. It can even remove the natural pigment from your skin. |

Sorry to disagree again but setting a laser for differnt colours is exactly what you do. Saphire laser can be set to remove black or split the frequency in half for red.
If you have black under orange I can lighten the black with minor removal of the colour whick could then be touched up. |
