I haven't gotten mine yet but my sister has a butterfly on her ankle and now she wishes that she would have never got it. Does anyone else regret any of their tattoos?

No I love my tattoo. Then again I went with something that was pretty mainstream. I have a butterfly that is purple with a tribal heart around it. I think that it is very feminine and pretty.

I have never regretted any of my tattoos because they each have a special meaning behind them. But I have an aunt who got a daisy tattoo in her "Hippie" Days and she says she regrets it. I think if there is meaning behind it you are less likely to regret it. I have also seen where people put their significant other's names as tattoos and then later split up with them...now I think that is a bad move!

I think you should get a tattoo only if you are passionate about it or else get a temporary one and see if u can afford to look at it everyday and you wont regret it later and then only go for a permament one.

I waited until I was 25 before I got my first one; I don't regret it at all. |

Sounds like me I am 24 and just going to get my first one now. I am glad that most people do not regret their tattoos because that is something that I had worried about.

I have never thought even for half a second that I regret my tattoo. I did it when I was 18 and since have gotten a few more and really like them all for different reasons.
