I'm basically here because I'm overwhelmed with all of this. I know I want the tattoo. I know what I want, but am also open to ideas.

I want 2 tribal designs that are intertwined with one another. This design is meant to be asymmetrical.

I want the first tribal design to be done in positive space; just like your standard solid-colored tribal tattoos, but I don't know what I want to be of. A skull I could go for, but I was thinking something that's a little more identifying and representative of myself. Perhaps an animal that I may identify with by personality... think tough and stubborn, yet sweet and loving. I don't quite know what that could compare to. Perhaps you readers might.

The second tribal is basically going to be the eyecandy of the tattoo. It's the artist's signature to the tattoo... the part of the tattoo that will extend behind the right side of my back and to the center of my chest. This tattoo is to be done in negative space; an inversed tribal, if you will. The "wing" that extends from my shoulder to my upper back should use the same size/structure as the "wing" that extends from the shoulder around the front of my chest; However, both "wings" should be different from one another as far as how the tribal ends. This part of the tattoo is what intertwines through/around the first tattoo, but shall also serve is the "background layer", if you're a photoshop nerd like me. Smile

As I said, I'm posting here out of desperation. My hopes are that someone will take pity upon me by wishing to further discuss this tattoo and possibly rendering a sketch for me so that I can see the tattoo come to life. But, I'm also here for information too, if that what's you think you may better offer me. Information pertaining to shops in the Dayton , OH area that may be able to offer me what I'm looking for, or where I might be able to get a hold of a tattoo artist that will be able to draw the tattoo for me prior to committing to the tattoo. Any information in regards to how expensive this could get for me as well, would be appreciated.

I have found images on google images that I can use to further help you grasp the concept of this portrait I would like to put on my upper back, shoulder/upper arm, and chest. However, I don't know the rules of the board when it comes to posting links, so I'll wait to receive further instruction on that.

man art is art, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. with that said.

post your pictures. BUT. in order for them to be viewed by other's. we all have to hit the post reply button. then scroll down to see your artwork reference. hope that helps.
