Hi my name is Melissa. I am currently taking a business class at Dakota County Tech. College (DCTC) in which we start our own business; I am interested in opening a tattoo shop. In a effort to gain some real perspective on the idea I was hoping you would be willing to offer/contribute any knowledge/information. I would greatly appreciate your time and knowledge in completing any or all of the questions provided below, as well as any other information you feel might benefit me. If you would be interested in helping expand my knowledge I would love to ask some more questions.

1. How many tattoos does your typical artist complete in a week?
2. What is your cost of goods? (per sale, month, ?)
3. How do you pay your artists? (hourly?, a percentage of something?, do they rent out the chair like some hair dressers?)
4. What were some of your major start-up costs?
5. Is there any licenses to obtain, certification required, permits, state fees?
6. What are your insurance requirements?

As I mentioned above I have many more questions I would like to ask, if you are willing to take the time in corresponding with me I would love to have your input/experience.
