Was wondering if anyone out there has tried Wrecking Balm? If so does it work? Are there any other ways to remove besides lazer?

The only thing I can think of to warn you about is that theres a chance it wont completely fade and there will be some parts of your tattoo still visible

Hey, I wondered the same thing too. I just turned 40 last week, and my tastes in body art have changed quite a bit since I got my tat at 19! I feel silly now at the beach as a 40 year old man with childish tattoos Sad

Needless to say, I am REALLY REALLY interested to know if WreckingBalm tattoo cream works.

I read a review for the stuff here: which got me searching for more answers, and led me to this site.

If anyone out there has any experience with this product, please please please let us know. I am hoping to avoid lasers at all costs!

The stuff looks promising.

the stuff does work in some instances but it is widely known to remove all pigment meaning your skin, no matter what tone you are, will be left with a white reminder of what your tat was originally. Lasers are the way to go, although expensive, most clinics offer 100% financing with carecredit.

Just wanted to chime in, Carecredit is pretty good and you can get no interest for the first 6 months I think but remember to ask them. Sometimes they forget. You apply at the clinic you go to. We use it for veterinary care but it's really for people Wink

as long as the place you go to accepts it.

I don't know about Wrecking Balm, but Tat B Gone works really well. Its really faded away my tattoo and its not even noticeable to somebody on the street anymore. I'm impressed with the product and would recommend it. Also, worth checking out tattoo camo if you want to conceal your tat. High quality stuff and stays on all day.

I’ve been using a product called Tat B Gone for the last 5 months. Have seen pretty good results so far. The ink in my heart tattoo has lightened up significantly; I’d say my tattoo is 50% faded already. I apply twice a day everyday and have avoided swimming and long workout (excessive sweat) and so far I’m pleased with the results I am seeing. I was hoping that the 6-month supply I bought would be enough, but now I’m thinking I will buy another 4-month or 6-month supply. Still beats the pants off of getting laser done and ending up with scars.

Yeah, it works unless the tat has blown out or real old and deep, but it takes a lot of time and that stuff is not cheap.

I tried wrecking balm - did nothing. Wasted hundreds of dollars on a broken promise. The guy who sold it to me over the phone even talked me into buying a 6 month supply instead of a 2 month. What a jeerk!! I followed all the directions and used it religiously for 6 months with absolutely no change in my tattoo! I hope someones reads this and changes their mind about Wrecking Balm - its a waste of money.

Since Wrecking Balm uses microdermabrasion it's true that you may look lighter on the area that it is used as it sloughs off layers of skin. However, that should only be temporary, as the skin will go back to normal once completely healed.

You are all wasting your $. Who wants to scrape off their flesh? If you need it removed that bad talk to a licensed MD that has proper training in removal. Just know all of it can scar and remove your skins natural pigment. Think before you ink.

Idk whats up these people man, poor education is all. I sure wouldnt be surfin the web to get advice on how to remove tattoos, I'd be scheduling my ass an appointment with a doctor. shock therapy looks good too btw
