| hey i got a small tattoo on the inside of my right forearm 12 days ago. it looks great...the healing is doin fine, but my right arm sometimes has pain in it. like muscle pain up to my shoulder. is this normal? i got it done at a very reputable shop. thanks. |

it's pretty unlikely that the pain you're experiencing is related to your tattoo, especially because you say it's healing well and you went to a reputable shop... tattoos don't go deep enough into the tissue to cause any damage to muscles or tendons... so its pretty safe to say that its not the tat itself that's causing the muscle pains... best bet is to pay attention to how your arm is positioned when you get these pains, you might have pulled something while you were actually getting the tat, or after(assuming the pain started when you got it) because you had your arm twisted a weird way! Hope this helps!!  |
