I'm looking to get a tattoo to...honor (I'd guess you'd say?) My first love. Anyone know of a really pretty symbol relating to such?

for "honorary" tattoos, symbols don't usually cut it as far as meaning.... ( i have one, and am currently working on the design for my other) what i'd suggest, is sit down and really think of something that you only associate with that person or the relationship. It will mean more that way because it wont be a "generic" symbol. for example, i have a tattoo to honor my grandmother, and her influence on me..... i was named after her, we're the two Roses of the family, her favorite rose is the yellow rose, my favorite is the brandy tea rose, i have two roses tattooed up my side, one is yellow, the other a brandy tea rose. This way i know who its for and why, but most people just see a beautiful tattoo.... but its special to me, which is what is important in all tattoos, especially the kind your talking about!

Many people choose to honor their loved ones with by an inscription tattoo. You can just choose a language that is meaningful and express in words what you want to say.
