Hey, I am looking for a tatto artist or any artist at all. I plan to post about 2 pictures to ask for someone to give me some what of a rough draft of what they can draw from the pictures. The pictures will be of dragon statues that I own. I have been searching online for other rough draft samples of dragons, but so far I am unsuccessful in finding an idea similar to one in my head. I plan to get one within the next year or so. I am only 16 but will be 17 soon and I am still debating on the idea of getting one that soon. So with that fact I hope no one gets discouraged to help me. If any one could help me in this area I would be more than pleased to hear a reply, as well as hearing from others about ideas to go about this situation.

Thanks to all of those that post replys.

Hi there
You dont say whereabouts you are- just says GA, if your only 16 I would probably find an artist you like- checking out convention winners is a good way of finding an artist 'in tune' with your wants. Plus, you pay for what you get- your better off sitting on an idea for 6months to save enough to get an artist to do the work than rushing and having some butcher carve up your skin- I have seen some really nasty results- unfortunately some tattooists will see your age and think they can bully you into getting a design you not happy with,
Sorry i couldn't help further but conventions are a great way of finding local and international artists and just talking to them- you get a very good feel for the artist then.
