My tattoo artist recently did a huge favor for me. So I want to get him something to show my appreciation.
Are most artist picky about their ink's and things like that?
Anybody have any good ideas for me? |

In answer to your question about inks, etc:
YES, they are very picky about them - and they should be. And, if they are not, then I wouldn't use them. Many inks on the market are not very good, some inks even contain little plastic particles and cause irritations, etc. And the comment about the UV inks - many artists refuse to use them.
I wouldn't get anything along those lines, unless you really know the person well and know for a fact what they use. And if you purchase any supplies, then have them sent directly to the artist from the manufacturer/dealer, so that they know there was no contamination along the way.
Personally, I'd find out something they enjoy: bottle of their favorite drink, CD of someone they really like - oh and tips are always good |
