Please could i make a polite request to all mods. There is a massive amount of spam being posted on the piercing topic would it be possable to really concentrate on it. It is spoiling that section for everyone and it seems to be reposted instantly after being deleted.thanks everyone. Just to let everyone know we are aware of the problem and will endevour to delete it as soon as its seen.Thanks all, ROWDY.

Rowdy, I am deleting the spam from the piercing section several times a day, every day.

I've been working with Admin on it for about 2 months now. We changed the settings to post for the forum, and it's pretty much deleted the spam from the entire forum (at least by spam-bots). But for some reason the settings are set different for the piercing section. Admin has been working hard to get the settings changed, but since it was an "added-on" section, for some reason the settings are different.

Also, all the spam-bot posts on the piercing thread are done as a "guest" instead of a registered member, so deleting the poster is not an option like it is on the other threads.

Just FYI.

And, yes, I hate it when I get spam in my piercings - although it does make a tasty snack for later when you least expect it. Wink
