I'm 16 and I live in wilmington, NC. Unfourtanly in NC even with parental consent you have to be 18 years of age before you can get a tattoo. I`ve been wanting a tattoo for quite sometime and I've had the same design in my mind the whole time. I want some sort of 5 pointed crown on my lower mid back. I would like my name Savanna going through it or under it...I'm not quite sure about that yet. I haven't found a really good design that makes me go WOW right away. I'm probably going to have them custom design it but I'd rather have a really good idea in my head when I go...so any ideas?? thannnxx

Well look at it this way, you still have almost 2 yrs before you decide. At that point you will need to find a good artist in a clean, reputable shop, he or she will be able to draw up something you will love. By all means dont get anxious and go to a scratcher in their kitchen somewhere, you can get very sick or even die and no, somebody using a oven or pressure cooker does not know how to sterilize their equipment and probably wont do that great of a job on your tattoo. This is a LIFE LONG decision youre making so take your time and get it right the first time.
