does anybody have any knowledqe of how much tattoos cost.. i know the prices are usually per hour but i was wonderinq if anybody could qive me an approximate price ranqe for any of these tattoos? im not qettinq any colors. probably just black. im qonna qet one of these either across my upper back or on the backs of one of my shoulders.. any suqqestions as to which i should qet? & any tips about the pain level in that area..?

these questions pop up on the forum just about every day. the cost will vary depending on the size of the tattoo, the artist doing the tattoo, where you are, etc etc. go and find an artist you like the look of and talk through your ideas.

there is a thread or two about levels of pain for different people in different parts of the body floating about the forum somewhere. give it a read. your tattoo will probably hurt but it probably won't be too bad, you might even enjoy it.

mods, just a quick idea. do you think it might be worth making a sticky - 'the cost and pain of your first tattoo' - or something like that so we don't have to keep writing the same thing every time someone asks these questions?

For an idea...the shop I work at charges $100/hr reguardless of color,size ,etc

But like he said it all varies
