I am currently working on a half sleeve and I am starting to get the inside of the arm worked on. I know this is a tender area but was just wondering if it is normal to be swollen, bruised and black and blue from getting tattooed there? Also, usually whithin a week my tattoos are pretty much healed other than a little bit of flaking. But for some reason this tattoo is taking a lot longer to heal and it is still a little sore even after a week, whiich mine are never sore that long. Again, maybe its just the part of the arm that I am getting it done one. Thanks for takin you time to help me

Hi nike i wouldnt worry about getting bruising on the inside of your arm ,it hurt me like a bitch for weeks it is a very tender spot and if your artist has had to grip your arm tightly to stretch the skin after a couple of hours it is bound to hurt for weeks after.
