How come the BBC Code and HTML do not work on these boards? Even if I turn them on in my profile, it still has them off when I try to post.

Was it being abused... or?

suggestion on anouther Forum I post at profiles are activated manualy that way to avoid spammers

Our admin changed the registration process a couple of months ago and it has stopped pretty much all the spam.

The ones that still get through are doing it without registering and as a "guest". This feature has been removed on all the threads - except the Body Piercing thread. Admin is working to get it changed on that thread as well, but in the meantime a few get through on that one thread.

They are easy to recognize without clicking on them (usually the "guest name" is a jumble of random letters). We mods check the forum several times a day every day and remove them when they do happen to get on there.

i think the person who wants to change it is a spammer any way..also ip address is asia..
