Hi there. I dont tattoo faces at all. Unfortunately the face is the most prone part of the body to age quite rapidly. The sagging effect later in life does make them look quite messy, with wrinkles etc. My great grandad had a full facial ta-moko tattoo. As he was one of many maori chiefs. Just my opinion, but i think they look very untidy on the face when old.

I don't like the idea of the face being tattooed. But this is just my personal belief. Sometime I think people get them to make themselves look scarey or want people to look at them.
I'm not one of those but I know that people get them there cause they like them there. So again its a total personal thing again.

So Rowdy - what is the plan? Is it a full-face tattoo, or just something cute and small? Inquiring minds want to know before making a decision!

(Mag - don't tell Rowdy, but I'm with you on no face tattoos - just trying to coax him out of hiding and figure out what he's thinking...ha!)

I dont really like them either. I dont know why, just to me faces already have so much uniqueness, so much stuff going on, I think face tattoos kinda take away from peoples faces. As mmm36 said, they look kinda scary to me.

On a bit of a side note, I was thinking about having a little devil symbol and an angel symbol behing my ears a while ago. But nothing on the front of my face.

I was thinking of a small design round the left eye something similar to what mike tyson has with thinner lines.
Chic the fish and pond are great maturing very nicely thanks.

Okay I will admit that I kind of like Mike Tyson's facial tattoo - although I wish he had only done the top half of it (above the eye and on the temple). I personally think it would of looked a lot better if he had stopped with it here (and not done the bottom part (under the eye and cheekbone).

I will also say I think it works for him - really fits him with his bulk and bald head. Never have seen Rowdy, so it's hard to imagine what it would look like...ha! Wink
Even though I think his is kinda cool, I still for the most part don't care much for facial tattoos.

I have never liked face tattoos I would never do one on anyone either. Sorry just my decision. Even if you have a body suit I think the face should remain clear.

I think it would depend on the design and the artist. As some work is very good from, Kats stars, to the guy with his whole body tattooed and modified as a tiger. Then you have Maori, Hawaiian, and many more cultural tattoos that I do not even know of. But the ones I have seen to the history channel were amazing to say the least! But as I have been learning more and more you have to go to someone that has years Experience to get the work done right. Especially if you are going to do it on the face. Me I would not get one because there are still allot of people that are prejudice out there, and I am not a millionaire, or work in the tattoo word, so it wouldn't be good if I did not get a job because of me having a tattoo on my face. If I could get away with getting one on my head and growing my hair back in to hide it when needed or have it long and be able to put it up when needed, depending on the job at the time. or maybe on the of the back of my neck. But I guess it would not be the same thing.
I hope you get to get what you want. If it is done right it should look great.
I say go get it. Sorry I am on the guy’s side.
