So I want to get my 1st tatoo on my back, but I dont want to go braless the whole time its healing...if I would have to go without a bra. So I was thinking of getting it just below my bra line going to just above my butt.....could only show it off wearing a bikini LOL! Or should I just get it from top of my back to about the middle or lower (concerned if Id be allowed to wear a bra during the healing process though). Heres the tattoo: But want alot less bubbles and still deciding if I should get some color or black and grey....advice please, thanks

I have a back tattoo that goes from just under one bra strap to just under the other bra strap.
The first two days I just wore a cami and no bra. After that, I wore a bra, but just tried to not be too active, so it didn't rub in spots. After a few days, it's not really a big deal. It healed fine.
Good luck! |

Where my bra's at I would just put extra ointment on it? Less friction... |

No, definitely not.
Putting too much ointment on can cause problems, a lot more problems than the bra rubbing it.
You'll want to follow the instructions of your artist exactly. They will be able to give you aftercare to follow. Just make sure your bra fits well, and it shouldn't rub too much. I wouldn't go out for a rousing day of basketball later that day or anything, but just regular wear should be fine.
If you are worried about it hurting, it's pretty much like having a sunburn for a couple of days and then it's better. (Unless it gets infected - again follow the artist's instructions and it should be fine). |
