So I'm a bit concerned about my first tattoo. I got it exactly 10 days ago. It's a descent sized tribal design, so it's all black. Well, it's about done peeling, minus the little parts that somewhat scabbed (which I'm not picking). So now I have a "shiny" skin that seems to be covering the entire tattoo...except some parts of the tattoo still look dark as the day I got it, and other parts of the tattoo seem lighter (a lighter green color). Is this normal and will it all even out in the end, or did I mess something up?
The way I took care of my tattoo is I put A&D ointment the first 2 days, and then started using lubriderm, making sure I never overapplied. |

| Hi Bud. Keep applying your aftercare cream. The shiny look you have at the mo will go away. Still afew layers of skin to grow back yet.....Sounds like it is healing well. As you have had solid black, you may need to go back for a touch up, depending on how your little blemishy areas are once fully healed. There should be no-charge to you if it does require abit more work. Best of luck. |
