hi im pretty skinny now and i intend on getting tattoos soon but i also intend on work out from time to time...my question is if i get a tattoo now while im skinny and i begin to work out and my arms and etc. begin to grow not huge body builder big just athletic and in shape wit the tattoo it self strech and disfigure? thanks

Shouldn't. My boyfriend got his tattoo on his arm 18 years ago when his arms were 9" around. Now hes at 18" and it looks exactly the same.

getting bigger is not really a problem but, losing weight can be.

i know a guy got into the steroids in the late 80s, he got very big and his tats looked fine. after stopping the steriods and working out and getting into the rave scene in the early nineties, he lost loads of weight and as a result ended up with saggy skin. his tats ( not all ) like the ones on his triceps look crappy now but his bicep one looks ok still.

i would imagine a rib or belly tat may suffer with sagging also.

i know its not really what you asked but, i thought it may be of interest to you.
