| i know that pain is different for everyone but i was wondering if any one can tell me about being tattooed on the ribs, i want to get a huge dragon going up my left side from my hip to my ribs. i'm not sure how painful it will be ect. thanks |

| like you said everyone is different Iv had people sit through a 2 hour session on the ribs and not even wince then others nearly jump out the chair but from what I know it hurts bad on most people |

| Just keep it to two hours or so at a time if you can (it may be difficult to do that on the first session). It's pretty grim, but it's bearable. |

| well i will be honest for me it hurt pritty bad and i think ive got quite a high pain threshold. However i loved my tat and it was all worth it! x x |

| Oh man.. I will tell you that it hurt like a B****. But anyways like emmatat said it was worth it. and i plan on going back to get my other side done with the same tribal. |

| Hey mommabird, sorry it took so long to write back. No, i havent gone back in yet. But i plan on going back soon to get it done. I also have the other side to finish yet too. When i get it done i will definitely let you guys know. |

If you are serious about tattoos like most of us are then no matter what the pain it is worth the piece of art you will have for the rest of your life no matter what I have a serpent and a asian style dragon on each of my sides and yes they hurt like hell but well worth the effort !!!

| I have a friend who has a pretty high tolerance to pain...he got a tattoo on this ribs and said it was the most painful experience ever. I was actually with him when he got it, and he could not stand the pain. He had to take breaks every 10 minutes |
