It's my first tattoo. I got it this past Saturday on my birthday. It's starting to peel now. Im putting Aquaphor on it and sometimes when I rub it in (Mostly when I get out of shower) little pieces of ink come off. I don't scrub it in the shower. I just rub soap on my hands then gently rub it in with the palms of my hand. Is it normal for the ink to be coming off?

all tattoos get a thin scab on them and you will see the scab is diferent colors on parts of the tattoo the colors will be the same colors thats on the tattoo they come off but ownly a little of the pigment comes with it that ownly because when you get a tattoo it bleeds and it bleeds throw the pigment so the blood picks up little bits of the pigment as it comes out so when the blood drys to form a scab the scab is then the colors of the tattoo hope this helps theres nothing to worry about as long as you keep it clean and when it itches dont scratch it its all part of the healing

Thanks. It only lasted for about two days. Not that much peeled off. Im using A&D better and I like it more than Aquaphor
