hi, i was just wondering if anyone knows of any reputable tattoo inks? ones that are approved by the regulations, and ones that still keep their vibrancy of the colours...
any help is much appreciated

| I've used many brands and only use Intenze now with the exception of Dermaglo for a few colours of theirs that I just love. |

Working for me now robertz. I've never even heard of this ink, but it seems to meet all EU standards for use on humans. I'd be tempted to try it if I was buying ink on fleabay. If you give it a try, be sure to let us know what you think of it. |

| I know my artist uses Kuro-Sumi ink. But, I've only got grey and black work. The one colored piece I have is done with starbright, I think. Not 100% sure on that one. I like the Kuro-Sumi, it seems to hold up really well and leaches very little. I haven't really heard much on scream....couldn't help you there. |

I swear by Starbrite ink. We are lucky enough here in NZ to have Kuro-sumi colours just released. Black and grey wash sumi has been here awhile now. Great stuff! |

cheap ink = cheap results imo
moms, intenze, starbrie, skin candy are all pretty good inks but it all comes down to personal preference when buying them and its worth it to spend the 6.00 per bottle and get good stuff than it is to spend 40 on a set of cheap inks
ink brands vary in whats good from color to color too like intenze reds itches more than other companys reds
here is a list of recommendations
Kuro Sumi:
black
grey wash
red
Intenze:
black
white
yellow
light blue
dark green
light green
marios blue
MOM's:
Bright yellow
epg green
greyhound
burnt orange
Eternal:
white
greens
Dermaglo:
blue
orange
Skin Candy:
jap pink
jap orange
Starbrite:
yellow
red
orange
white
lavender
teal
scream:
blue
Prizm:
greens
light blue |

It is all the artists preference,I myself think eternal triple black is by far the blackest ink i've used....puts kuru-sumi to shame.
Eternal has great blues and reds aswell.....i still can't find a good yellow.
Just bought a whole set of Intenze haven't tried it yet...i'll post what i think of it later. |
