I have my nose pierced, and did it because i wanted it pierced..
and i chose the right side of my nose, only because i wanted it there, no other reason..
its all myth about left for boys and right for girls...

its your body..
and if someone said your gay because you had your right side pierced, then they really dont know what they are talking about...just childish...imho

I'm female and have it on the right. Don't think it matters which side for a nose, or ears for that matter now a days. Besides there are some who have both sides of their nose pierced.
It won't leave a black mark so long as you wear good jewelery....Don't use a gun to peirce it either so I've been hearing and yes it's going to hurt, it will make your eyes water. That goes away tho, no pain no gain.....
Don't take it our right away tho or it will heal over really quick. Took me about a year before I could leave it out for the day and it not hurt to poke back in. Good luck and happy piercing! Very Happy

Great point about the gun!

It could possibly shatter your cartilidge, so dont ever get pierced by a gun, anywhere. Thats what I got my ears pierced with when I was like 11 or whatever, and when I started stretching my ears I had scar tissue coming out almost constantly for the first week.

I dont think getting my nose pierced hurt at all. And yes as long as wear good quality jewlery and clean it probably there will be no marks. As far as sides it doesnt matter, its any side you choose.
