To the Hell City 08? I definitely wanna go... $55/weekend is kinda expensive just to walk around... so I might just go one day (to the tune of $20)

Tho, I haven't been to a convention... could you tell me what to expect? I mean I've heard conflicting things like artists tattoo for free or are expensive, etc.... so, can you relate a time where you went to a similar convention?

Hi Liz, checked out the website and it looks like a lot of fun. Didn't know if you noticed, but there's a link to their YouTube page and they have a couple of promo videos in there about Hell City '08 and that might give you an idea of what to expect.

I personally have not been to a convention yet. Anxious to go to one, though! As far as the free tattoos ... you can get tattoos there, but I do not believe they are free. There are some contests that artists may enter, and maybe they do one on a person/client for free to enter it into the contest, but I don't think they usually do random people for free.

Take your checkbook - looks like there will be lots of great things to buy Wink

Conventions are bloody AWSUM! addictive like tattoos. Definately wont get tattooed for free. Never heard o that? LOL Laughing

On the odd chance, there may be an artist free? But generally they have arranged clients to be tattooed. But hey, You never know aye... take your check book or the plastic fantastic. it aint cheap to have fun in those places. You will be hanging to get to another!
