Hey, Just found this forum, thought Id say hi, and I also have a healing question. I just got my tattoo i drew myself on my inner forearm. It has been exactly a week ago today. I washed it multiple times a day with dial and have been applying tatwax everyday as well. It seems to be healing fine with the exception of one part. On a small corner (tattoo was done in all black) there is what looks to be a small hole/pit, like maybe they accidentally went too deep, and it is a bit puffy and itchy. Anyone experience this before? Is this a typical thing? When i dab the spot with some paper towel i sometimes get some black ink on it. Im guessing its just a scab unless you say otherwise. I am trying to let it dry up and only apply the tatwax when its itchy. Any input appreciated.

hmmmm, Im thinking it could possibly be infected :S
Maybe consult the person who Tated you (he might have seen other cases like yours and knows what to do)
Or ask a doc about infection.
but when it comes to wunds i find Peroxide does well...it drys the wund area out so it can scab and heal.
Im not sure, but it shouldnt react with the in.
