I know this question might be old school but I’ll shoot anyway:
I just got a tatt like 2 days ago and it is sooo bad ass its my 5th one but its been like 3 years it is ever so slightly pink around the tatt and a bit swollen much like it was right after I got it. It is a 5-6 inch scorpion that is in the inside of my arm about 4 inches from my wrist should I be concerned. It seems to get pink only after I wash it with a weak soap and seems to fade a bit afterward. I’m thinking that this tat is a bit deeper then my others on account the flesh I got it on is a bit softer. |

Maybe stop washing it for now and give it some time to dry out. Use a non-greasy lotion once a day and rub it in well and remove any excess. If this doesn't help and it still looks red after a few day's, go see a doctor for the infection. I think this is normal, but you may not be keeping it dry enough.
Hope this helps. |

| Ya it dose not hurt well no worst then in the past and its only day 2 but dry it out? Iv herd that that increases the chances of scabs. I use Aquaphor my tatt artist recommended it in the past iv used A&D but that has ***** you don’t need in it and it oily and you do get scabs with that. |

Might be the soap you are using if it flares up just after washing it ..
Get a new perfume free soap and see how it goes . |
