I am coming to the end of getting my sleeve done and have been looking after the tattoo by washing and using savlon. once all the tattooing is completed people are telling me i still need to look after it, using sunscreen and moistureiser has anyone ever heard of doing anything like this and what aftercare (if any) does any one else use after its healed

Well, I for one carry on like my tattoos have been there as long as my skin. I do nothing after they have healed completely.
But I will say this I do put on sunscreen as we have really hot summers. So for that reason I use that stuff on all of my skin not just my tattooed area. Otherwise nothing goes on them apart from normal washing and bathing.
