| my tattoo is 4 weeks old.its 3 letters .the artist scarred my 3rd letter cos its raised,then a week ago i had an accident a graze on the scarred part of it.i lost the top layer of skin.it was a blister .any way it scabbed over,and ive lost lots of colour and looks very smudged .i went back to the artist fof a touch up but he said no,because in 4 weeks it will look perfect,but i dont really belive that.wot do u guys think..i said ill come bk in 4 weeks .he said i wont need to.ive got no pics sorry |

| i had a similar accident with mine, it did heal up a little, but didnt look perfect, have been waiting 2 go back for a touch up |

Well some pics would help .... but if he says to wait four weeks and it will be fine , ask him if in 4 weeks time like he says .....if you are not happy will he touch it up for you .....
but it may be up to you to pay the costs as like you say , you actually grazed the tattoo your self , so it may not be the artist fault it looks a bit off .... |

| will i need to have just the messed up letter touched up.will that look darker than the rest ,or do they touch up the whole thing,im new to this |

| will more than likely have to get the whole lot touched up, coz as u say the rest of the tat wil look dull compared to the touched up section |

A four week old tattoo is a mostly-healed tattoo. It's not going to magically sharpen.
I'd set up an appointment with him, but be prepared to pay your own way on this one. And be careful with your new ink in the future! |
