I use sprit carbon to make my stencil on fine trace paper.
I then use a very thin layer of speed stick regular scent deodorant to transfer the image from the paper to the skin. I then use paper towel to press on the stencil and remove access deodorant and carbon. I then let stand 10 to 15 min to allow for the stencil to dry so it wont wipe off.
However, here in Philly it is illegal to use deodorant on the stick. So one of my tricks that I use came in real handy here.
I quit using it myself years ago on the stick, due to cross contaminations issues. I will share my trick to still use deodorant even when you can’t use it or don’t want to use it on the stick. Purchase a small Tupperware container. Sterilize it using bleach water mix for 15 min. Wipe dry with a clean paper towel or air dry with the opening down in a clean area. Take the deodorant and push it all the way out. Break it off and melt it in the container in a microwave. Cover and let cool and use a paper towel to apply. This seems to have satisfied the rule of not using it on the stick and I have never had a problem doing this, I have been doing this for over 5 years now even before I came to Philly. It looks good to customers and there is never a question about how sanitary it is and I think it looks more professional then a stick of deodorant laying around. This also allows you to apply a very thin layer with ease for faster drying and better cleaner transfers.
Good Luck, hope I was a help |

avoid all this, just buy some stick it from a supplier and there ya go.
easy on, one application at a time and easy to apply the stencil.
plain and simple. |

I have tried many products that claim to transfer stencils. I have not tried the particular one you are speaking of so it may be great I don't know.
I only like to use speed stick because it's proven and if the stencil is laid on properly with it you have hours of wipe time it before it wipes off. So the little bit of effort is worth it for me at least. |

| i use Hibiclens (chlorhexidine gluconate). get it at the pharmacy. its a surgical detergent. antimicrobial, antiseptic skin cleanser. put just a small dab on the entire area. then rub til its almost dry. apply the stencil, if done in spirit master. then rub tiny bit of vaseline over the pattern and it will stay through the whole tattooing process. even through repeated green soap wipings. but DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!!!!!!! it will come right off. if you screw up the stencil, then spray with alcohol and start all over. you ca reuse the stencil several times using this method. and the area is sterile as a bonus. |

| by the way, with thde hibiclens technique, the stencil comes off way darker than any other technique ive tried. let it dry also, 2 to 3 minutes before putting the vaseline on it or it may smudge just a bit. |

| No, spirit master is a carbon transfer paper. purple. Do you remember "dittos" back in school if you are older than 20-25, before the xerox machine? It's the same thing they used back then to make the copies. you can order it through any tattoo supply co. If you have a really good art supply store or office supply store they may have it also. But it's not cheap. Spend $25 on a box and it'll last you forever, though. |
