|
|
| A few weeks ago I got my belly button ring ripped out. I had my friend look at it, when I went into the shop the day after it happened and he said to just follow the normal piercing care procedures(salt water-dial soap-and spray bactine) and that it shoild be fine. But its been almost two weeks and where it was looks almost like i got burned and the skin is really hard. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone before and if theres anything else I can put on it other then what the normal healing steps call for. I have it done 3 other times and was planning on getting it redone when it heals. |

| I've heard that bactine can be harmful to piercings, but not 100% sure. |

Im not really sure about that either Ive used it on all the piercings Ive had and it seemed like they took a little longer to heal. I trusted his judgement on the piercings and they came out fine but the healing of the belly button isnt going so well and im not really fond of the top one being out. I know that when i got my snakebites it was different then the others.
Im hoping that someone can help me Im beginning to think theres nothing i can do to help it |

OUCH!!!
The only thing I've had ripped was an ear lobe when I was a kid. Some guy accidently ripped it clean through and split my ear in two. The doctor taped it together and it healed okay, but then about a year later I had it repierced just above the original spot. I guess it was too close to the original one and it eventually pulled down into the original hole, so now the hole is about 3X the size it should be. People tell me I should just get them gaged, as I'm already there with one side...ha! |

maybe not while its healing, but bio oil is great for reduceing the redness of scar tissue.I you get it on there as soon as poss you could really reduce its appearance. The oil is pretty magic stuff-but a little costly. Its great for you skin anyway,it just has special properties that help with scars.
Hope this is any help for you |
