what is with all these stupid people coming ona nd posting porno....
....i think its going to put people off posting....something needs to be done.
you need to get online more often and delete their posts and user accounts as they are really messing the site up!!!!
im online quite alot, so if i can help let me know by PMing me Smile

i know im new and you probly wont want to make me a mod or anything but the offer is there if youd like, i might be able to get in and delete the posts befor they post too many or whatever...i dont really know what can be done to stop this happening.
anyways a reply either here or via PM would be good.

Spam is a problem with this site and many others that are tattoo related, myself and Chic are moderators and do delete all spam as soon as we see it.

I only have net access at work so cant do much at night weekends etc, so having been away for four days for Christmas the place may be in need of a little housekeeping (just like home really).

It will be tidy shortly.

Well, the last days I spent like one hour a day deleting spam but this doesn’t stop them to post again. I tried to ban usernames, IPs, emails, etc. but they just register with different ones…

I disabled two days ago new registrations and I am looking to find a programmer to recode the forum to ban any live link. I know it can be frustrating if you can’t put live links to interesting tattoo sites but this is the only way I see to keep spamers away.

The new users registration will be back as soon as the live links ban is done.

Spam is a pain in the ass on all forums I run a small gaming site.
It got so bad I had to put the forums to members only any one can read them. But you have to be a member to post. You can keep blocking the IPS but the Forum Bots just keep changing the IPS you can block a hole range but it might block out people that are lag et. So basically the only way to stop the Bots from posting **** is make only members aloud to post.
