I've never gotten a tattoo before, and I've been trying to think of what I should get as my first. I've been trying to look on web sites and such but I can't really think of what sort of design I want, and it's hard to find places to look at tattoo designs when you don't already have a general idea of what you'll be getting. I want something symbolic, that will have some sort of meaning behind it but I don't know that much about any sort of symbolism.

Any advice on how to come up with ideas, or where to find reliable information on finding meanings behind symbolic images I could use as a tattoo? (sorry for being vague, I have been trying to think of something for a while) Confused

this place, and google BME zine. its maybe got what yer looking for. allot of it is what art you want on your body to symbolize too. so check around shops, and take a good look at what you think suit's your desire to get some art done. good luck.

How old are you?
What interests do you have?

Yeah something symbolic is always good!

Are you religious or spiritual at all? If so maybe something that reflects your faith?

Perhaps if you find something you THINK you like sit with it for a month and then see if you still like it!
