had it for about a week now and the scabs are peeling off. There is little to no color where it has peeled so far. Please tell me what went wrong with it.

It is possible the artist hasn't gone deep enough into your skin. So the ink sits in the upperlayer and comes off, together with the "normal" scabs. If it's a good shop, you can go back to let it cover up, for free! Good luck! |

| It flashes across your eyes and gives you that rare chance to make a wish. A Shooting star is a brief flash of light in the sky and this is what the tattoo man is conveying. |

| I got a red ink foot tattoo 3-1/2 weeks ago and I'm having a similar problem- I believe I'm having an allergic reaction to the ink, and it looks like the tattoo is really faded. It's raised up, parts of it scabbed over and peeled off and now it looks like it completely came off on parts of the piece. I want to ride it out and see if it will heal up, as I had a tattoo on the other foot and it healed just fine, but that didn't have any red in it at all. I've been applying antibiotic ointment because my foot is red around the tattoo and still a little swollen. It's not as tender as it was, but I still can't wear a regular shoe, only sandals. It was five years ago when I had the other one done, but I certainly don't recall it hurting this much. I will never get another tattoo with red ink in it! The place I go to uses natural ink and they're very hygienic, I'm not blaming them whatsoever. It's just one of those things... |
