|
|
| Hi I'm buying a tattoo kit for my mum for xmas and need to know a good tattoo kit to get her started. I'd prefer to buy one from Australia because of the exchange rate and postage time. Are the ebay tattoo kits any good? What would be the best thing for her to practice on? |

| Hello, those tattookits are ok for fun, I mean, you wil have to invest some serious euro's - dollars if you want a good machine and supplies. For example, I just bought a new machine, price: 250 € or 323 USD. Remember that tattooing is an art, you will have to practice several years ( Pig skin, fake skin, real skin) and it's permanent !!! I hope I didn't dissappoint you, but It's better to warn in front, than to complain afterwards, not? Good luck! |

I would avoid buying a kit...most are filled with junk
piece your own kit together.... it wil cost more but it will last ya and you wont be looking to replace it quickly |

| Make sure you include an Autoclave steriliser, ultrasonic cleaner and a good Medical waste disposal company in that kit. |

from what i've heard from many forums the ebay kits should be pretty much a no go area as often the supposidely stainless steel tubes that come with them rust quickly and the same with some of the machine parts, also these kits are mass produced so are not often hand tuned which makes a difference, i bought a kit form a tattoo supply website and was rather cheap but i am only using it for practice for now, and am gradually building a better kit in the mean time.
My advice is if you dont have alot of money search online for tattoo suppliers in your country
I got my kit from as i live in the united kingdom and they have some nice beginners kits (they also have an ebay shop that is alot cheaper and that counts for their postage also) |
