Ok, so i have been going to a local shop for almost a year now for a decent amount of work on a half sleeve. They have good artists and I have become pretty good friends with the girl that has been working on me. Here is a link to what I have done But I want to start working on the other arm and I know of a shop in buffalo that does amazing work. I want a japanese sleeve and I know I will get a better tattoo if I go to Buffalo but if I stay at the same shop I will still get a good looking tattoo but not as good as the one in Buffalo. Do you think I should put friendship aside and go for the tattoo that would look a little better? I just dont want my current artist to get offended and get mad at me since we have become friends. What would you do?
P.S. quote for link |

| Hi, you have to get the best tattoo you can.I had the same decision to make a few years ago. When i told him i wouldn't be getting any more work by him i thought if he's a true friend he would accept it and remain friends,,I never heard from him again so it just goes to show i was only money to him and not a true friend. PLEASE put yourself first get the best tattoo you can. |

| I agree with rowdy. It's going to be on your body forever. It should be the best that you can get. Also, being an artist and soon to be tattoo artist, I know that there will always be people out there that are better than me at different things. Every artist has their own style. |

but i agree with the other posters.
this is going to be on you for the rest of your life.
dont get the poorer tattoo just because you might feel guilty. |
