hello,
i am looking for tattoo artist(s) to design a specific tattoo for me. since this will be my first tattoo and it has so much meaning, i am looking for something special. what i want is a pair of angel wings (preferably small, because i am petite- build) to go on my back over each shoulder blade and then in the middle of the wings, a type of lettering or other cool in memorium-type design that will have my father's initials and dob and/or dod. preferably as unique as possible, and not like the other common tattoos. i am willing to pay for quality, as this will be with me forever and will have priceless meaning. if anyone can help me, or help guide me in the right direction to an artist or artists that have done great quality work in this type of request, send me an email; i would appreciate it so much!! |

Hi. My advice to you would be to find a good artist in your area. look through portfolios. Find a style you like.talk your design over. arrange price etc. Wait until you have somebody you like to do your ink. Tattoos shouldnt be rushed. |

Your best bet would be to go to an artist in person....
Im a tattoo artist and I can try helping you online but the result would have to go to the artist you choose and be resized to the size of the area you want it on and such |

Not to sound like a jerk... but you will have trouble (as I have this same answer to everyone that posts this kind of question) to find an artist to draw something up for you when you know they will be going to another artist for the ink. Drawing a piece of art comes from the artist's heart and soul. I put ME into anything I draw for people and twice I have been bitten by the draw something up for someone and have a half rate artist screw it up!
I hope you find what you are looking for but go to the artist that you will have do the tattoo. |

| I as an artist would be happy to draw you something up. But I'd charge you just as much as I would to tattoo it. So you may as well get it drawn by the artist who will tattoo it. |

agree with a lot of the others in here.
I get numerous requests from people on the net to "draw them a design",...or "can you sketch this out for me",..etc etc
I'm to the point I say NO,....and tell them to get with the artist they will be using. It takes a heck of a lot of my time and energy to make a good tat drawing,......and I don't really care to work for free.
hope that doesn't make me sound like an ass,..but I could get easily consumed in doing free work for people......and most people don't give a thought to gee,..this guy took all that time away from whatever else he had to do ,..just to make this design for me that i can take to another artist who's actually gonna get paid for it |
